"Like a mad 60's carnival" Serge Pizzorno "A colossal club night" Noel Gallagher
On Friday May 4th ‘London’s most rock ‘n’ roll night out’ THIS FEELING ventures north of the border again with Edinburgh’s Voodoo Rooms playing host to three great new bands.
Everyone in the know is excited about soulful London five-piece, BORN BLONDE, who list The Doors and The Verve as major influences. Expect propulsive beats and hypnotic Doves-esque soundscapes in an intense live show that will leave you spellbound.
Edinburgh’s THE 10:04s have been selling out venues with a contemporary and extremely polished punk sound that instantly conjures recollections of Franz Ferdinand in their pomp. http://www.thisfeeling.co.uk/bands/38-the-1004s/
Dunfermline five-piece THE MODERN FACES get their musical influences from the 60s and their swagger from the 90s, and Kasabian’s Tom Meighan is a fan. ‘Granite Scots with granite songs, a band to watch’ GORDON SMART (THE SUN/XFM)
Edinburgh's THE GOLD LIONS complete the stellar live bill.
£6 before 9pm / £8 after 9pm (if not sold out!)
