TF March 2nd | Club Nights
Friday 2nd March 2012
London
Friday 2nd March marks the launch of THIS FEELING's third monthly London night at Concrete in Shoreditch. Along with a DJ sets from THE RIFLES, NME's Hamish MacBain and 90's Mike, we also bring you four of the best new bands around...
London four-piece FRACTURES will be playing jagged, sleazy rock/pop infused with that classic British guitar band sound of The Libertines/early Supergrass with songs of real quality, including anthem ‘Alone’ – “druggy, Britpoppy, drenched in London" NME
Indie rock three-piece, GARDA, are all driving beats, angular guitars and a real knack for skyscraping choruses.
FILTHY BOY from Essex play raw and powerful garage rock songs dripping with angst, pure attitude and monster choruses – like Arctic Monkeys crossed with The Foo Fighters.
THE VAN DOOS “an anthem to shake away those winter blues” (NME) in the shape of ‘Tenterhooks’ and a sound akin to Britpop giants, Suede.
