THIS FEELING GLASGOW LAUNCH PARTY!
London's most rock'n'roll night out, a regular haunt of well known faces, and where to see future next big things in advance comes to Glasgow...
Get ready for the mother of all launch nights at Glasgow’s Chambre 69 on Saturday 31st March as ‘London’s most rock ‘n’ roll night out’, THIS FEELING, ventures north of the border for a truly momentous evening’s entertainment. Along with an exclusive DJ set from indie rock royalty, THE CORAL, four of the UK’s best emerging bands will be gracing the stage.
THE DRAYMIN – a dance/indie five-piece from Rosyth – is a band currently being stalked by all the major record labels...Great tunes, powerful vocals and real stage presence cement their reputation as top tips for the future. Manchester's JANICE GRAHAM BAND sound like the mutant offspring of The Specials and The Happy Mondays and have a reputation for creating a unique carnival atmosphere during frenzied live shows. Expect truly rousing ska-pop from a band whose confident swagger belies their tender years. SELECTIVE SERVICE, a rock/soul/reggae four-piece from Glasgow, combine serious riffs with ear-cracking beats and meandering, hypnotic bass lines. Their expert fusion of soul, dub, reggae and rock is a kind of musical schizophrenia, like alchemists blending the elements in search of pure gold... And, hailing from London, enchanting Brit-pop revivalists, SULK, will be stirring up 90s harmonies inspired by the likes of The Stone Roses, Suede, Pulp and The Verve, creating music of majesty with sun-drenched vocals, ethereal guitars and pounding percussion.
