A truly epic celebration in store at The Vibe Bar on Saturday 31st December... ‘London’s most rock and roll night out’ will help you to see in 2012 in serious style with a sumptuous feast of live music and top notch DJ sets.
THE RIFLES will be out in force as well, blasting out their floor fillers from the decks as well as playing an exclusive acoustic set. Expect material from brilliant new album ‘Freedom Run’ and a plethora of guitar-pop classics from their sublime back catalogue.
Rick Witter & Paul Banks, fresh from a triumphant UK tour and EP release to celebrate the 15th anniversary The Shed's standout album A Maximum High, will be playing a short special intimate acoustic set with Chris Helme (The Seahorses) on guitar – so prepare for sing-along heaven with classics like ‘Going For Gold’ and ‘Where Have You Been Tonight?’ and air-guitar inducing belters such as ‘On Stand By’ plus a DJ set from Rick.
Chris Helme (The Seahorses) will also be playing Seahorses classics as well as songs off his new album.
Support comes from two more exciting up-and-coming London acts; BUSTER SHUFFLE will be peddling their unique brand of piano-bashing cockney ska, enchanting the crowd with an authentic rock’n’roll sound and an extensive catalogue of eminently catchy feel-good songs from hotly tipped London lads DEXTERS who sound like the bastard child of The Clash, The Jam and The La’s and have the infectious energy and big tunes to match.
PLUS DJ SETS FROM…Steve Harris (XFM), Cool Britannia, Soul Boy Mystic, Club 27.11 and NIneties Mike
** rattling out tune after Terry (tezza) and June from the likes of Kasabian, Oasis, Miles Kane, The Beatles, The Stone Roses, Noel Gallagher, The Chemical Brothers, The Who, Primal Scream, Beady Eye, Supergrass, Pulp, BRMC, Blur – all the best and biggest**
This Feeling - if it's your last trip of 2011 it'll get you on your way...
***PLEASE NOTE ~ entry does not guarantee you will see the bands. TF.NYE is rather like a festival tent; once one floor is full, it's full. So get down early to avoid disappointment***
